Acupressure Training College Begins to Take Shape

The Sansthan had taken a major decision in 2004 to establish an acupressure training college for the purpose of conducting a full-fledged four years course on the pattern of MBBS degree course. The college was to be known as Acupressure Takshshila. Pursuant to this decision, the Sansthan had acquired land on the banks of the river Ganges at Chhatnag, Allahabad during the year. Bhumi pujan was performed at the proposed college site on 29 Jan 05 at a solemn ceremony. The function was attended by all members of the Sansthan. Justice Prem Shankar Gupt and Justice Girdhar Malviya also graciously attended the function and participated in the puja.

Holi Milan Function: 27 Mar 05

Holi milan function was held in the Sansthan’s premises on the evening of 27 Mar 05 to enable all members of the Sansthan and their families to greet each other on the auspicious occasion of Holi. A cultural programme was also organized on the occasion by members of the Sansthan. Justice Prem Shankar Gupt, Justice Girdhar Malviya and other distinguished invitees attended the function.


Second 17 Days Advanced Level Residential Training, Allahabad : 3-19 Jul 05

The second 17 Days advanced level residential training was conducted by the Sansthan at Allahabad from 3 to 19 Jul 05. A limited number of 49 trainees from 10 states were enrolled. Students were accommodated at the near by Regal Guest House. Sansthan’s vice president Shri Shyam Sundar Saraf was the chief coordinator. Ms Archana Trivedi was the training in charge. Classes were conducted by senior lecturers of the Sansthan including Sansthan’s president Shri Mata Prasad Khemka , senior vice president Shri J.P. Agarwal, Dr. G.C. Agarwal, Shri M.B. Tripathi, Ms Parul Agarwal and others. A five-member team of practical trainers led by Ms. Sarla Mishra conducted practical training. All trainees were taken on a sight sighing tour of local places on 17 Jul 05. A cultural programme was also put up by the trainees towards the end of training.


Guru Purnima Celebrations: 20 Jul 05

A special Guru Purnima function was held at the Sansthan premises on 20 Jul 05. The function commenced with the Sansthan’s president Shri Mata Prasad Khemka garlanding the photographs of revered gurus Prof. Park Jae Woo and Dr. Devendra Vora. Thereafter, Shri Khemka addressed the gathering and stressed the importance of this day. The function ended with all members of the Sansthan offering floral tributes to the Sansthan’s president and revered guru Shri Mata Prasad Khemka .


Ayurvedic Advanced Training Camp at Allahabad: 13-17 Aug 05.

Ayurvedic Advanced Training Camp at was conducted by the Sansthan at Allahabad from 13 to 17 Aug 05 at Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon Mandapam hall. Shri M.K. Midha was the chief coordinator. Classes were conducted by Sansthan’s president Shri Mata Prasad Khemka, senior vice president Shri J.P. Agarwal, Dr. G.C. Agarwal, Shri M.B. Tripathi, Ms Parul Agarwal and Shri A.K. Dwivedi. 440 trainees hailing from 14 states attended the training.


Indian Academy of Acupressure, Allahabad Spreads its Wings

Indian Academy of Acupressure, Allahabad established a branch at Surat on 5 Oct 05. Shri Anil Singh of the Sansthan was made in charge of the Surat Academy.


Diwali Celebrations: 13 Nov 05

A Diwali mela was organized in the Sansthan premises in the evening of 2 Nov 05 and attended by a large number of Sansthan members, their families and invitees. A cultural programme was also organized on this occasion by members of the Sansthan.


Seventh National Acupressure Conference cum Super Advance Training at Allahabad: 18-24 Dec 05

Seventh national acupressure conference cum super advance training was organized by the Sansthan at Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon Mandapam hall, Allahabad from 18 to 24 Dec 05. Shri K. C. Goel coordinated the event. 636 delegates from across the country attended the event. A large number of research papers were read by the delegates on the occasion.

Schools/Colleges Acupressure Awareness Project during 2005

In continuation of the above project which was launched in 2004, a total of 21 awareness camps were held in various schools and colleges of Allahabad and neighboring areas in the year 2005 and attended by a total of 3106 students and 328 teachers. All these camps were coordinated by Sansthan’s vice president Shri Shyam Sundar Saraf and conducted by him with the help of members of the Sansthan.
 

Basic Training Camps at Allahabad during 2005

Basic Training Camps in Chinese acupressure were conducted by the Sansthan at Allahabad during Jan, Apr, Jun and Nov. A basic ayurvedic acupressure training camps was conducted during Sep.
 

Outstation Training Camps during 2005

Training Camps were conducted by the Sansthan during the year at Mumbai, Maunath Bhanjan, Rourkela, Jaipur, New Delhi, Bhilwara, Rajkot, Lucknow, Varanasi, Bhiwani, Ahmedabad, Surat, Kolkota and Kanpur.
 

Free treatment Camps during 2005  

Free treatment Camps were organized by the Sansthan during the year at Ahmedabad, Surat, Kolkota and Kanpur.
 

Free Treatment Camps/Awareness Training Programmes during 2005

Free treatment camps were organized by the Sansthan during the year at Bhilwara and Mumbai. Free treatment camps cum awareness training were organized at Rishikesh (Parmarth Niketan) and Hyderabad.
