Two days Training in Ayurvedic Acupressure at Pune: 8 - 9 Jan 14

Two days training in Ayurvedic acupressure was conducted at Pune on 8 and 9 Jan 14. The event was organized by Shri G Satish. 50 students attended the training.  Classes were conducted by Smt Archana Trivedi, faculty member of the sansthan
 

Six Days Training in Electro Acupuncture at Delhi: 8 - 13 Jan 14

Six days training in Electro Acupuncture according to Voll was conducted at Delhi from 8 to 13 Jan 14. 20 trainees attended the event. The training was organized by Shri Nirmal Kumar Madnani and Smt Ramola Madnani.  Classes were conducted by a team of lecturers from the sansthan comprising Km Archana Dube, Shri Ajay Pandey, Shri Harish Kumar Srivastava and Shri Akhilesh Kumar Singh.
 

Treatment Camp during Magh Mela, Allahabad: 16 Jan – 12 Feb 14

Two free treatment camps were organized during the annual Magh Mela at Allahabad from 16 Jan to 12 Feb 14. 4600 patients were treated during the camps with the help of 18 therapists from the sansthan. Shri MK Midha was the chief coordinator of the camps.  

Seven Days Chinese Acupressure Training cum Treatment Camp at Mangalore: 31 Jan - 6 Feb 14. 

Seven days Chinese acupressure training cum treatment camp was organized at Mangalore in Jan – Feb 14. The training part was conducted from 31 Jan to 2 Feb 14 and which was attended by 35 trainees. Treatment camp followed the training from 31 Jan to 6 Feb 14 in which about 500 patients were seen. The event was coordinated by Smt Sangeeta Bhandari.  Training and treatment was carried out by a four member sansthan team led by Smt Archana Trivedi.
 

11 Day Advanced Level Residential Training in Chinese Acupressure, Allahabad: 9 -19 Feb 14 

An 11 Day advanced level residential training in Chinese acupressure was conducted at Acupressure Takshshila, Chhatnag, Allahabad from  9 to 19 Feb 14. 50 trainees from various states including few local students were enrolled. Out station students were accommodated in the hostels of Saraswati Ashram. The training event was inaugurated by Justice Girdhar Malviya who was the guest of honour on the occasion. Shri M K Midha, sansthan’s vice president (treatment), was the chief coordinator of the training programme. Classes were conducted by a team of lecturers from the Sansthan ably led by Sansthan president Shri Mata Prasad Khemka. Training was based mainly on the twenty one volumes of the book ‘A Treatise on Advance Acupuncture/Acupressure’ authored by Shri Khemka.

Five Days Chinese Acupressure Training at Basti: 23 - 27 Feb 14

Five days Chinese acupressure training was conducted at Basti from 23 to 27 Feb 14. The event was organized by Dr. Naveen Singh. 52 trainees attended the training. The training was carried out by a sansthan team comprising of Shri Sunil Kumar Mishra and Shri Ram Kumar Sharma.

11 Day Advanced Level Residential Training in Electro Acupuncture and Yogic Acupressure, Allahabad: 23 Mar – 2 Apr 14 
 

An 11 day advanced level residential training in electro acupuncture according to Voll and Yogic acupressure was conducted by the Sansthan at Saraswati Ashram, Chhatnag, Allahabad from 23 Mar to 2 Apr 14. The training was inaugurated by Shri N B Kapopara, principal O N Najar Ayurvedic College, Surat who was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. 106 trainees attended the training. Theoretical and practical classes were conducted by a team of dedicated lecturers of the Sansthan led by the sansthan’s president Shri Mata Prasad Khemka. Shri M K Midha, vice president (treatment) of the Sansthan was the chief coordinator of the training. Shri Nilesh Kumar Shah, Accountant General UP was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.

Acupressure Awareness Programme for Ladies at Allahabad: 12 Apr 14 

An acupressure awareness programme for ladies was conducted on 12 Apr 14 at Marwari Dharmshala, Allahabad under the aegis of Marwari Mahila Mandal. The main theme of the programme was ‘treatment of female diseases through acupressure’. The event was attended by about 80 ladies. The event was conducted by Shri Shyam Sunder Saraf, (vice president – general) of the sansthan with the assistance of Shri Siya Pratap Singh and Smt Gita Garg.


Five Days Chinese Acupressure Training cum Treatment Camp at Bangalore: 9 – 13 May 14 

Five days Chinese acupressure training cum treatment camp was conducted at Bangalore from 9 to 13 May 14. 125 trainees attended the training. The event was conducted by a sansthan team comprising Smt Archana Trivedi, Smt Jhuma Niyogi and Shri Dilip Yadav. Treatment was carried out in the evenings on all the days.


Two Days Advance Course in Ayurvedic Acupressure at Mumbai: 31 May - 1 Jun 14

 

 

Two days advance course in ayurvedic acupressure was conducted at Mumbai on 31 May and 1 Jun 14 under the aegis of Acupressure Upchar Academy, Pune.  Shri G Satish was the chief coordinator. 64 trainees attended the training. The classes were conducted by the sansthan director Shri J P Agrawal.  Treatment was also conducted on 1 Jun 14 which benefited 54 patients.

 

Shri Harish Kumar Srivastava and Smt Archana Srivastava Pass Away: 21 Jun 14 

The sansthan suffered a severe blow during the year with the passing away of one of its most illustrious members, Shri Harish Kumar Srivastava, who was snatched away from us by the cruel hands of destiny in a tragic road accident. Along with him, his wife Smt Archana Srivastava and his bhabhi also lost their precious lives in the accident. Harishji was an extremely devoted and conscientious member of the sansthan who worked tirelessly for its advancement. He was on the faculty of the sansthan and endowed with outstanding teaching skills.  Thousands of his students from various parts of the country benefited greatly from the profound knowledge of acupressure that he passed on to them.

Harishji was also an acupressure therapist par excellance and successfully treated intractable diseases of thousands of patients. He also shouldered myriad onerous responsibilities in the sansthan in his capacity as member of work executive committee and web site team. His contribution in various spheres of the sansthan’s activities was unmatchable and will be remembered for a very long time to come. His gentle and affable manners, liveliness, enthusiasm and dedication to the cause of suffering humanity will be greatly missed by all the sansthan members. May all the three departed noble souls rest in eternal peace!
 


Five Days Ayurvedic Acupressure Training cum Treatment Camp at Bangalore: 9 - 13 Jul 14 

Five days Ayurvedic acupressure training cum treatment camp was conducted at Bangalore from 9 to 13 Jul 14 under the aegis of International Acupressure and Nature Cure Foundation. 65 trainees attended the training. The event was conducted by a sansthan team comprising Smt Archana Dube, Km Archana Trivedi, Shri Ram Kumar Sharma and Shri Dilip Yadav. Treatment was carried out an all the evenings during which about 300 patients were treated. Treatment camp also organized at Police Lines for the benefit of police personnel on 14 Jul 14 in which about 300 patients were attended to. 


First Full Time Certificate Course in Ayurvedic Acupressure and Alternative Healing Sciences (CAAHS) at Allahabad Commencing 15 Jul 14 

15 Jul 14 was a red letter day in the history of the sansthan, as on this day the first full time certificate course in Ayurvedic Acupressure and Alternative Healing Sciences (CAAHS) of six months duration started at Chhatnag with a batch strength of 30 students.  The course has been approved by Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar; and the sansthan run academy affiliated to the university for this purpose. With the commencement of this university module, the first step has been taken to fulfill the mandate of the academy to conduct a four years degree course and marks an important mile stone for the sansthan. The course was inaugurated by Justice V K Chaturvedi in the presence of senior office bearers of the sansthan.

Awareness cum Treatment Camp in Jhunjhunu District, Rajasthan: 19 - 24 Aug 14

An acupressure awareness cum treatment camp was conducted in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, mainly at Baragaon, from 19 to 24 Aug 14. The awareness programme covered seven schools and colleges and was in all attended by 1100 participants. A large number of patients were seen during the camp. The event was the brain child of Shri Shyam Sunder Saraf (vice president – general) of sansthan who conducted the same with the assistance of Shri Siya Pratap Singh and Shri M G Mishra.
 

Five Days Ayurvedic Acupressure Training cum Treatment Camp at Jaipur: 23 - 27 Aug 14

Five days Ayurvedic acupressure training cum treatment camp was conducted at Jaipur from 23 to 27 Aug 14. A six member team led by Km Archana Dubey conducted the event.  70 trainees attended the training. Treatment was carried out in the mornings and training in the evenings. 620 patients were seen during the camp. Smt Nirmala Joshi was the chief coordinator of the event.
 

Two Days Training in Advance Ayurvedic Acupressure at Delhi: 30 - 31 Aug 14

Two days training in Advance Ayurvedic acupressure was conducted at Delhi on 30 and 31 Aug 14. The event was organized by Smt Ramola Madnani. 50 students attended the training.  The classes were conducted by the sansthan director Shri J P Agrawal.  
 

11 Day Advanced Level Residential Training in Ayurvedic Acupressure, Allahabad: 14 -24 Sep 14 

An 11 day advanced level residential training in Ayurvedic acupressure was organized by the Sansthan at Chhatnag, Jhunsi, Allahabad from 14 to 24 Sep 14. 112 trainees enrolled for the course. Justice Rajes Kumar of Allahabad High Court was the chief guest at the inaugural function of the training. Hippocrates Part II authored by sansthan director Shri J P Agrawal was released on the occasion. Classes were conducted by a dedicated team of the Sansthan under the guidance of Shri J P Agrawal, the founder of Ayurvedic acupressure. Shri Vasudev Yadav, former director of UP secondary education, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.  Shri M K Midha, vice president (treatment) was the chief coordinator of the training programme.

Two days Residential Training in Advanced Chinese acupressure at Allahabad: 18 - 19 Oct 14
 

Two days residential training in advanced Chinese acupressure was conducted at Chhatnag, Jhunsi, Allahabad on 18 and 19 Oct 14. The main subjects covered during the training were ‘diagnosis by different methods including tongue’ and ‘treatment of various acute and chronic diseases’. The classes were conducted by the sansthan president, Shri M P Khemka with the assistance of Smt Archana Trivedi and Km Archana Dube. Chinese Acupressure Hand Book Part II was released on the occasion. Shri M K Midha was the chief coordinator of the training.

Shri Khub Chand Chaturvedi Passes Away: 20 Oct 14 

The sansthan suffered another blow during the year with the passing away of one of its most committed members, Shri Khub Chand Chaturvedi, ex vice president (hospital). Shri Chaturvedi rendered yeoman’s service to the sansthan and devoted himself whole heartedly to its cause. He was a remarkable administrator and lent a helping hand in all the activities of the sansthan. He was greatly instrumental in raising the Acupressure Takshshila at Chhatnag from the scratch. He was a go getter and personified dynamism in all his endeavours. The services rendered by Shri Chaturvedi to the sansthan will be greatly remembered by the sansthan members for a long time to come. May the departed noble soul rest in eternal peace!

Two days training in Advance Ayurvedic acupressure was conducted at Dehradun on 30 and 31 Aug 14. The event was organized by Shri S K Agrawal. 50 students attended the training.  The classes were conducted by the sansthan director Shri J P Agrawal.  

Sixteenth National Acupressure Conference cum Super Advance Training at Allahabad: 23 – 29 Nov 2014

Sixteenth national acupressure conference cum super advance training was organized at Allahabad from 23 to 29 Nov 2014 at Rajshri Purushottam Das Tandon Mandapam. Justice V K Chaturvedi and Justice Pankaj Mittal were the guests of honour at the opening ceremony. Shri K. C. Goel coordinated the event which was attended by about 600 delegates. A number of research papers were read out at the conference. Shri M. P. Khemka, Shri J.P. Agarwal, Shri M.B. Tripathi and Shri A.K. Dwivedi conducted the training classes. Justice Rajes Kumar graced the occasion at the closing ceremony.

Basic Training during 2014

During the year, eight and seven basic training programmes in Chinese acupressure & Ayurvedic acupressure respectively were conducted by the Sansthan at Allahabad. A combined Chinese and Ayurvedic basic acupressure training was conducted during Nov 14. All the trainings were of five days duration.
