EAV Meridians (Dr. Reinhold Voll)
EAV
Electro-Acupuncture According to Voll Dr. Reinhold Voll (Germany) - 20th Century Discovery | Practiced at ASPEUS in modified form
Dr. Voll discovered 8 new meridians on the hands and feet, primarily treating tissue disorders. He also added hundreds of new sub-points to existing Chinese meridians, linking specific organ parts to individual points. ASPEUS practices a modified EAV method using micro magnets and seeds on Voll's discovered points, as described on the website. The key new EAV meridians are listed below with their primary tissue associations.
| Meridian | Voll's Name | Location | Tissue / Organ Association |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ly 1 | Lymph - Hand | Ring finger, ulnar border | Lymphatic system, immune function, tonsils, adenoids, lymph nodes |
| Ly 2 | Lymph - Foot | Lateral 4th toe | Pelvic lymphatics, inguinal lymph nodes, lower lymph circulation |
| NW | Nerve/Skin - Hand | Dorsal surface ring finger | Peripheral nerves, skin (epidermis and dermis), spinal cord segments |
| NW-F | Nerve/Skin - Foot | Dorsal 4th toe | Lower limb nerves, sciatic nerve, skin of legs |
| Fi | Fibrous/Joints - Hand | Middle finger, radial border | Connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, joint capsules, intervertebral discs |
| Fi-F | Fibrous - Foot | Middle toe lateral border | Joint disorders of lower limbs, plantar fascia, knee and hip ligaments |
| Al | Allergy/Parathyroid | Index finger ulnar surface | Allergic conditions, parathyroid glands, calcium metabolism, sinus and hay fever |
| Oc | Organ Degeneration | Little finger, alternative side | Chronic degenerative conditions, cellular degeneration, cancer-related tissue changes |
| Eye Meridian | Voll Eye Orbit Meridian | Around the orbital rim of the eye - 8 points per eye | Individual eye structures: cornea, iris, retina, lens, optic nerve, vitreous, sclera - each mapped to specific orbit points |
Key EAV sub-divisions on existing Chinese points: Dr. Voll sub-divided many classical acupoints to address individual parts of organs. For example, on the Large Intestine meridian he identified separate sub-points for appendix, transverse colon, and rectum. On the Heart meridian, sub-points were discovered for cardiac plexus, endocardium, myocardium, and pulmonary valve. These sub-points are used with the dermatron instrument or, as at ASPEUS, with micro magnets and seeds on corresponding sujok hand/foot locations.
