Acupressure Shodh Prashikshan Evam Upchar Sansthan (ASPEUS) was established on March 26, 1995, in Prayagraj (Allahabad), India, as a non-profit organization of selfless volunteers dedicated to serving humanity through free acupressure treatment. Starting modestly with seven volunteers treating 12 patients in a borrowed building, the Sansthan has grown into a nationwide network of thousands of volunteers, evolving from a small initiative into a robust organization committed to holistic healing.
Our primary goal is to provide free acupressure treatment to the sick and ailing, promoting health and well-being across communities. We are deeply engaged in research to advance acupressure techniques and offer comprehensive training programs to empower individuals with the skills to heal naturally. Our motto, "Each One Reach One, Each One Teach One, Each One Treat One," drives our commitment to spreading acupressure awareness and fostering self-healing.
The Sansthan began with Reflexology, focusing on 38 points on the palms. In 1996, we adopted Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupressure, followed by Sujok acupressure, developed by Prof. Park Jae Woo, which applies treatment on hands and feet using seeds and micro magnets instead of needles. Over time, we discontinued Reflexology and incorporated Yogic acupressure and a modified Electro Acupuncture According to Voll (EAV) using seeds and magnets.
In 2003, Shri J.P. Agrawal pioneered Ayurvedic acupressure, based on the ten basic elements from the ancient Indian text Charak Sanhita. This breakthrough revolutionized treatment, effectively addressing complex diseases like cancer, AIDS, multiple sclerosis, kidney failure, tuberculosis, spinal disorders, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and more, often eliminating the need for surgery. Ayurvedic acupressure has surpassed earlier tri-origin and eight-origin concepts, which were phased out.
Developed over 22 years, ASPEUS’s Acutherapy combines Reflexology, TCM, Sujok, EAV, and Ayurvedic acupressure, using seeds, micro magnets, and colors for non-invasive treatment. This approach treats a wide range of conditions, from common ailments like colds to chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis. Key features include:
