Acupressure/Acupuncture One Point Treatment (Book I)
By Shri M. P. Khemka
This book is a step towards simplification of acupressure treatment so that even a beginner can cure simple diseases. A normal acupressure protocol consists of a minimum of around five to six points and can go up to around fifteen points. To be able to apply these protocols require certain amount of expertise. Further, a patient finds many points to be quite irksome. Hence, a need was felt to minimize the number of points as far as possible.

This book is the result of author’s empirical research, study and experience based on treatment of thousands of patients with the help of just a single point. The author found that in a very large number of diseases, often a single point suffices to cure the disease. Accordingly, the author has compiled a list of 445 diseases in this book that can be treated with one point protocol. This book is a boon to all acupressure therapists whose job now becomes much simpler. The book has been produced in pocket size so that it can be easily carried around.

Acupressure/Acupuncture One Point Treatment (Book II)
By Shri M. P. Khemka
Book I on the subject was a step towards simplification of acupressure treatment so that even a beginner could cure simple diseases. A normal acupressure protocol consists of a minimum of around five to six points and can go up to around fifteen points. To be able to apply these protocols require certain amount of expertise. Further, a patient finds many points to be quite irksome. Hence, a need was felt to minimize the number of points as far as possible.

Considering the necessity of keeping the pocket book series of books small in size, there were restraints on the number of protocols that could be included in Book I. Book II is an expansion of the number of protocols that were included in Book I. Both theses books are the result of author’s empirical research, study and experience based on treatment of thousands of patients with the help of just a single point. The author found that in a very large number of diseases, often a single point suffices to cure the disease. In Part II, the author has compiled a list of 390 diseases that can be treated with one point protocol. This book, along with Book I, is a boon to all acupressure therapists whose job now becomes much simpler.

A Treatise on Advance Acupressure/Acupuncture(Part XVI) – Advanced Fundamentals of Chinese Acupuncture
By Shri M. P. Khemka
This is the sixteenth book of the 24-part epical Treatise series of books on acupressure/acupuncture written by the author.

The most basic fundamentals of Chinese acupuncture have been described in Part I of the Treatise series of books. The subject has been further carried forward in Parts VII, VIII and X of the Treatise series with discussion of more advanced fundamentals of Chinese acupuncture. This book carries forward the subject matter still further and deals with the most advanced fundamentals of Chinese acupuncture.

Diagnosis is the most important part of the process before the right course of treatment can be selected. This book sets forth the principles of diagnosis to arrive at the roots of even the most chronic and intractable diseases. The book explains in detail the fundamentals of qi (energy) flow in the body, how it affects the various body functions and how stagnation/contravection of qi can upset the energy flow rhythm in the body, thereby causing disturbance of various body functions and leading to diseases.

Blood is an important constituent of the body. Deficiency and stagnation of blood or excess heat in the blood also adversely affect the function of various organs and body parts, leading to diseases. All these aspects are explained in detail in the book. Phlegm is another body constituent (it is not exactly the same as understood in allopathic medicine) that manifests in various body parts and affects their functions, often causing diseases. This aspect is also described in great detail in this book. Further, this book sets to explain the clinical manifestations of yin/yang deficiencies and the interplay between yin and yang with great clarity and lucidity. The effects of attacks of various internal and external pathogenic factors on the body are also described.

Having dealt with causes and advanced diagnosis of diseases, the author deals with the advanced principles of acupressure treatment and explains the nuances behind preparing balanced protocols for curing all types of diseases. The author explains in great length as to when to tone or when to sedate various acu points in any given protocol. How to treat diseases at different levels is another highlight of the book. One often gets injured during course of work and play in one’s daily life. This book tells you that what ever be the nature of injury, acupressure is a highly effective and readily available cure without the use of medicines. The book will be found very useful by acupressure therapists who wish to take their knowledge to a higher level.

A Treatise on Advance Acupressure/Acupuncture(Part XVIII) – Tongue Diagnosis
By Shri M. P. Khemka
This is the eighteenth book of the 24-part epical Treatise series of books on acupressure/acupuncture written by the author.

Examination of tongue to arrive at or to confirm the diagnosis of a disease is practically used across all therapies but none so importantly and exhaustively as in TCM. Pulse and tongue diagnosis lie at the heart of diagnosis in Chinese acupressure/acupuncture, so much so that it can be emphatically stated that pulse and tongue mirror the exact state of internal organs and their disorders. This book covers in very great detail all possible aspects of tongue diagnosis. By an examination of the tongue’s colour, coating, state of moisture, shape, etc., the state of the diseased organ becomes immediately apparent to the examiner. Many of the outer manifested symptoms are often common to many diseases and sometimes, the symptoms are contradictory leading to a dilemma on the part of the physician/therapist. It is here that tongue diagnosis helps the therapist to make an exact diagnosis and consequently the correct line of treatment. An examination of tongue can tell whether qi (energy) in a particular internal organ is excess or deficient. Tongue diagnosis is particularly helpful in chronic and intractable diseases. Tongue examination is also of great help in prognosis of diseases.

Contrary to popular perception, tongue diagnosis is not at all difficult to learn. All that it requires to master the art of tongue diagnosis is a serious reading of the subject and thereafter practical application of the knowledge so gained. With some practice, a correct diagnosis can be arrived at within a matter of about 20 seconds. This book helps the reader to do just that and is a must for any therapist who aspires to take his/her knowledge of acupressure/acupuncture to the highest level.

Sujok Acupressure
By Shri J. P. Agarwal, Shri K. C. Goel & Smt. Gita Garg
The Chinese meridians and points are located over the entire body and these body points have been used for the past 5000 years for acupuncture/acupressure treatment. Looking back, it can be seen that treatment on the body points are tedious and painful. Some of points are in the genital areas and are often embarrassing to both the patient and the therapist. Some of them are also dangerous to the patients being treated.

Around the year 1987, Prof. Park Jae Woo of Korea discovered after years of research that a complete correspondence of the whole body exists on the palms and the feet. Thus, all the Chinese meridians and their points also find a correspondence on the palms and the feet. Instead of treating points located on the whole body with painful methods, all that was now required was to treat on the corresponding points on either the palms or the feet. The effect of treatment would be the same. This discovery has revolutionized the Chinese acupuncture treatment by greatly simplifying the same. Prof. Park has named his invention as sujok acupressure.

A great number of books on the subject have been written by Prof. Park but these are all in English language and not easily accessible in India. This book sets out to explain sujok acupressure in simple Hindi and describes how to find the corresponding body points on the palms and the feet and how to treat various diseases with their help. Even a novice can carry out elementary sujok acupressure treatment after reading this book.

Acupressure/Acupuncture Yogic Chakra
By Km. Parul Agarwal & Shri Alok Kamalia

As per Indian yogic philosophy and concept, seven major and thousands of minor chakras are located at various parts of the human body. These chakras, particularly the major chakras are dense forms of energy. Ancient Indian sages used to unleash the power of these chakras through meditation and other yogic actions. However, over a period of time this has become a dying art and the number of people who can perform such yogic feats is very small..

Sujok acupressure, a modern day invention, has found a way of marrying the power of yogic chakras with that of sujok acupressure. The corresponding locations of seven major chakras have since been found to exist on the palms. Based on the characteristics of each individual chakra, acupressure treatment is given on the palms at the location of the desired chakra. Thus, these chakras have now come to provide a simple and effective technique to treat various difficult diseases by utilizing their power.

This book sets out the basic concept of these chakras and their utilization in acupressure treatment. This book is in fact an abridged version of the book ‘Patanjali Yogic Acupressure/Acupuncture’

Tri-Origin Theory
Compiled by Km. Parul Agarwal

Apart from Sujok acupuncture/acupressure, Prof. Park Jae woo of Korea has invented a number of treatment systems that he has collectively called Onnuri medicine. Tri origin theory forms the basis of one such treatment system. As per this theory, there are three basic forces in the universe as well as in the human body and which Prof. Park has named as Homo, Hetero and Neutro force. As per Prof. Park, all activities in the universe and the human body are a resultant of the interplay of these three forces.

Further, various body parts and systems fall within the ambit of one of these forces. Based on this tri origin concept, Prof. Park found that the various joints and nails of the fingers correspond to some or the other body part or system. Any disease of the latter can thus be cured by giving treatment on the finger joints and nails.

This book is a compilation of various charts and figures from the original works of Prof. Park on the subject and will be found useful as a broad guide and handy reference material for an interested acupressure therapist. However, for a detailed understanding of the subject, readers are advised to refer to the original works of Prof. Park.

Charak Ayurvedic Acupuncture & Acupressure (Part I)
By Shri J. P. Agarwal. Co author – Km. Parul Agarwal & Shri A. K. Dwivedi

Our ancestors in India, China and many ancient civilizations have known about the existence of basic elements in the universe since time immemorial. As per generally known and accepted Indian philosophy, there exist five elements in the universe and each and every living and non living being in the universe must necessarily exist within the ambit of these five elements. These five elements are space, wind, fire, water and earth (solids).

However, the author of this book and the inventor of ayurvedic acupressure was not satisfied with this ancient wisdom handed down over the generations. In his quest to know more, he delved deep into the ancient Indian text, ‘Charak Sanhita’ written about three thousand years ago and found to his amazement that this text clearly mentions the existence of ten elements in the universe. The five additional elements are time, direction, mind, soul and darkness (zero state that existed even before creation of the universe). The characteristics of each of these elements are vividly described in the ancient text

Drawing upon divine inspiration, the author co related the ten fingers of the hand with these ten elements and discovered an elaborate system of meridians and points on the fingers and other body parts. Ayurvedic acupressure, a combination of ayurvedic principles and acupressure application, an entirely new therapy was thus born in the year 2003. This book is the result of the author’s deep research and insight and which he explains with telling effect. This new invention as documented in the book and illustrated with hundreds of case histories, charts, tables and figures is the author’s ever lasting gift and legacy to mankind

Charak Ayurvedic Acupuncture & Acupressure (Part II)
By Shri J. P. Agarwal & Km. Parul Agarwal
The essentials of the newly invented ayurvedic acupressure have been described in great detail in Charak Ayurvedic Acupuncture & Acupressure (Part I). This book is an extension of Part I and carries forward the theory of ayurveda to fill the missing links. The book mainly deals with chronic diseases relating to brain and spinal cord. All the parts of the human body and their functions are controlled by the nervous system. As a corollary, it can be said that nervous system has a role to play behind many diseases of organs and parts of the body. Hence, the cure of various diseases can be achieved via the nervous system.

The author has linked horizontal meridians on the joints of all the ten fingers, spiral meridians on the left hand ring finger and mega meridians on both wrists to various nerves through his intensive empirical research. This has enabled treatment of many hitherto intractable diseases. This book explains how various difficult diseases such as scoliosis, lordosis, joints pain, gout, paralysis, brain cyst/tumour, parkinson disease, epilepsy, mania, etc. can be cured via the nervous system meridians of ayurvedic acupressure. The subject matter has been supplemented by detailed case histories.

This book is a valuable tool in the hands of ayurvedic acupressure practitioners and therefore a must have in their books library.

Dhanvantari Ayurvedic Acupressure
By Shri J. P. Agarwal & Km. Parul Agarwal
Blood circulatory system is one of the most important systems of the human body and a vast number of diseases can be attributed to disorders of the circulatory system. If an artery or a vein gets blocked, the corresponding body part or the organ supplied/drained by that artery or vein often develops a disorder. Such a disorder can be set right by unblocking the offending artery or the vein. This is no mean task and may often require surgery, particularly in the case of blockage of coronary arteries.

It is amazing how such complex blockages can be removed through simple ayurvedic acupressure treatment and thus avoiding complicated and expensive surgeries. Ayurvedic acupressure treatment of blood vessels blockages and various other diseases by way of treatment of circulatory system has been made possible through exhaustive and painstaking research by Shri J. P. Agarwal. Shri Agarwal has discovered various meridians on the fingers which relate directly to various arteries and veins in the body and consequently to body parts/organs supplied /drained by various blood vessels. Treatment via the circulatory system supplements treatment via the nervous system as given out in Charak Ayurvedic Acupressure (Part I I). Together, these two systems provide a very effective means of curing a vast number of diseases including complex and intractable diseases.

This book describes the co-relation between various meridians on the fingers with arteries/veins in the body and corresponding blood supply/drainage areas. The book helps the students to understand the practical applications through numerous well documented case histories. Along with Charak Ayurvedic Acupressure (Part II), this book will prove to be a valuable tool in the hands of an acupressure therapist in successfully treating a vast number of diseases.

The five additional elements are time, direction, mind, soul and darkness (zero state that existed even before creation of the universe).

A basic level book Bhardwaj Ayurvedic Acupressure and an advanced level book Charak Ayurvedic Acupuncture was the result of the author’s deep research and insight into the subject.

Ayurvedic correspondence system wherein the hands have been considered to exactly correspond with the body and hence amenable to treatment of disorders affecting any body part have been explained in detail in the basic book Bhardwaj Ayurvedic Acupressure. This book is in the nature of an abridged basic level reference guide and illustrates the correspondence of various organs and body parts on the hands with the help of numerous figures. A layman can thus treat simple diseases by just looking up the relevant page of this book This book is available in Hindi and Gujarati editions.

Liver, Gall Bladder and Metabolic Disorder
By Shri J. P. Agarwal & Km. Shwetma Mishra
Liver is one of the most important organs of the body as well as the biggest body gland. It is the chemical laboratory of the body and handles more than a thousand chemicals. The liver is responsible for generating many essential chemical substances for the body as well as for detoxifying many harmful substances. A malfunction of the liver can result in many diseases such as anemia, heart block, hepatitis, jaundice, diabetes, renal failure, hypertension, skin problems, insomnia, gastric problems, brain and metabolic disorders, etc.

Gall bladder stores bile which is produced by the liver. A disorder of the gall bladder will affect the release of bile to duodenum and which in turn will affect the whole digestive activity. This is likely to cause many digestive disorders. It is hence necessary to understand the functioning of these two organs and the large number of diseases caused by them. The roots of many diseases, which on surface appear to be unrelated to liver/gall bladder, can actually be traced to these organs.

It thus becomes essential to understand all about liver/gall bladder related diseases and their acupressure treatment which has been found to be effective and durable. This pocket size book explains the various aspects of liver/gall bladder related diseases and their treatment through ayurvedic acupressure. The book contains simple ayurvedic treatment protocols that the acupressure therapists will find very useful.

Before an acupressure therapist can proceed to treat a patient, it is necessary for him/her to first diagnose the problem without which successful treatment is not possible. Medical reports are a great tool in the hands of a medical practitioner to arrive at the correct diagnosis. It is hence essential for a therapist to be able to read and understand various medical reports that a patient may present.

Part I of this book was written with a view to supplement the author’s book Rogi, Rog aur Upcharak and which explains in detail the contents and interpretation of various medical reports. However, many advanced diagnostic procedures which were outside the preview of Part I, have been covered in Part II of the book. There are many questions that beg for an answer while diagnosing difficult cases. Many questions arise in a therapist’s mind from time to time, such as, why do vital body organs like heart, kidney or liver get diseased? What is at the root of allergy, rheumatic fever, nephritic syndrome, scleroderma, etc? What causes such common diseases like headache, migraine, vertigo, weakness, etc? How does an ordinary infection or the deadly cancer spread to body cells? These and many such frequently asked questions are lucidly answered in the book in the form of well laid out chapters and dealing with various aspects of medical investigation.

Both Part I and this book have been specially written and tailor made by the author keeping the requirement of paramedicals like acupressure therapists in mind. Jin Shin Do – Treatment of Blockages by Acupressurre

Treatment Procedures and Protocols of Acupuncture without Needles
Shri S. C. D. Goel
This book pertains to Chinese acupressure treatment but with an entirely different perspective. The points used are mainly the sixty command points, master and couple points of extra ordinary vessels. Restoration of energy imbalance within the human body is the main premise of TCM and this book does the same but uses a different approach. The author postulates that energy imbalance in the body can be diagnosed with a very simple but effective method of measuring the length of various fingers. This method is supposed to be parallel to the difficult art of pulse diagnosis in terms of effectiveness. The points selected for treatment are thereafter based on the length of various fingers.

The author describes various step by step procedures such as formation and treatment of ten celestial stem constitutions, ten celestial stem structures, safety energy locks, treatment through tendo muscular meridians, eight energies, zone therapy, etc. The author explains how leo-connecting, passage, organ source, back shu, influential points, etc. can be used more effectively.

Although, the points used by the author are mostly based on Chinese acupressure, he approaches diagnosis and treatment with a different view point. The author’s methods have been found to be extremely effective in practice and give an acupressure practitioner a wider option in treatment of diseases. Often, where the conventional approach has been found to be inadequate in dealing with a disorder, this unique method of the author has delivered results. This book will, therefore ,be found useful by all those therapists who wish to broaden the scope of their treatment and thus achieve a greater success ratio.
