  • Zonal heads came forward in huge number to undertake the above mentioned activities under the umbrella of Acupressure Shodh, Prashikshan Evam Upchar Sansthan, Allahabad.

  • It is hereby informed that MEETING OF ASPEUS OFFICIALS WITH AYUSH & HRD MINISTERS, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA was held with the agenda undertaken by the Government as follows:

    (i) Acupressure Shodh, Prashikshan Evam Upchar Sansthan, Allahabad be recognized as an Institution of Excellence; and 

    (ii) The professional trained and educated by it for five years may be engaged under AYUSH by the Government of India so that benefits of Acupressure reach the larger masses and to begin with, permission may be granted for one year under AYUSH to this system of treatment.

  • The meeting was organized by the H.R.D. Ministry and the team of ASPEUS was invited for presentation on the above noted agendas.

  1. The Director ASPEUS thanked both the Ministers for giving him an opportunity to explain as to why Acupressure need to be given recognition by AYUSH, Government of India, as an independent branch of treatment/ Therapy.

  2. It was stated by the ASPEUS Director that they have been working in the field of Acupressure for the last 24 years very successfully but the system goes back to 3000 years.

  3. It was referred to the many components of the Cosmos which are also present in the human body and vice – versa, and how it is related with the ancient text of Ayurveda.

  4. It was also referred to the close relation between the Cosmos and the human body and the focus of Acupressure on the closely interlinked principle of Physical and Meta physical inseverability.

  5. It is stated that many Judges of the Allahabad High Court are getting treatment from the Sansthan at Allahabad.

  6. It was also referred to the methodology of treatment of Acupressure involving pressure points and micro magnetic therapy.

  7. It was also stated that various kind of patients are being treated by the Sansthan specially for Arthritis, Delayed Mile Stone condition in Children, Cerebral Palsy, Paralysis, Slip disc, Surgical intervention in Degenerative cases of Spinal Disorder, Appendicitis, Heart, Lungs and Liver diseases, raised Uric acid, neurogenic & metabolic Arthritis, raised C-reactive protein in blood etc. besides treating circulation based arthritis such as frozen shoulders polio etc.

  8. It was also stated that Acupressure has been praised by Dr. Prakash Khetan, who holds place in Guinness Book world Record as a Neurologist.

  9. It was also suggested that Government may consider bringing suitable regulation to curb any possible misuse of Acupressure.

  • During the course of presentation, the ASPEUS team handed over the literature and representation to the concerned authorities. Thereafter both the Hon’ble Ministers and concerned authorities discussed the future prospect of Acupressure to be introduced all around the country, and both the Hon’ble Ministers had very positive response. 

  • Now it is our duty to get ready ourselves to take up the job all over the country which is only possible by your extended hands.  As a part of preparation for the job, meanwhile all the therapists are requested to be well equipped with latest research undertaken by the ASPEUS by participating in all specialized capsule courses, residential trainings, correspondence courses and initiating treatment in your city, town and even in the adjacent rural areas.
